Your kirpan is beautiful! It is an honor to have in my home. It occupies a very special place where it can be seen everyday. In preparing my uniform for Memorial Day, I couldn't help reflecting on 'Saragarhi Day'. I was struck by a particular reference...
"Gurmukh Singh, who communicated the battle with Col. Haughton, was the last Sikh defender. He is stated to have killed 20 Afghans, the Pashtuns having to set fire to the post to kill him. As he was dying he was said to have yelled repeatedly the regimental battle-cry "Jo Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akal (He who cries God is Truth, is ever victorious)."

I'm very pleased with the Siri Sahib (Kirpan) as the materials used are of high quality so the weighting feels right for the size so sits comfortably.
